When using Junctions 8 or above, you can very quickly set up an ARCADY or PICADY model. If you are using the most common options, then you can ignore most of the more advanced options and settings that the program offers. Instead, you only need to use a few screens to set up the junction geometry and flows and then see the results.
If you are using Junctions 9 or Junctions 10, please navigate to the “How to use Junctions” chapter of the main User Guide, where you will find the latest “Quick start” guide.
If still using Junctions 8, here is a Quick-start guide
This “Quick start” guidance summarises the steps needed to set up a basic model for a 3-arm roundabout using the ONE HOUR (ODTAB) traffic profile type. Setting up a PICADY model follows the same steps.
